HELP COMMUNITY HOUSING SERVICES FIGHT HUNGER!
Community Housing Services of Lansdale, PA will again participate in Alan Shawn Feinstein’s 14th annual $1 million giveaway to fight hunger. Feinstein’s annual $1 million challenge to fight hunger has raised a record $1 billion for more than 2,000 agencies nationwide.
Since 1998, the Alan Shawn Feinstein Foundation of Rhode Island has been helping food banks, emergency food programs, and other non-profit anti-hunger organizations boost their fundraising efforts through its annual Feinstein Million Dollar Challenge.
From March 1 through April 30, 2011, all monetary contributions and food items earmarked for the Feinstein Challenge made to Community Housing Services will be proportionally matched by the Feinstein Foundation. The greater your donation, the more matching funds will be donated by the Feinstein Foundation to Community Housing Services.
CHS provides services to over 200 households per month, providing assistance to cost-burdened, low-to-moderate income individuals and families in Montgomery County.
Donations may be made in person or mailed to Community Housing Services, 311 North Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
